Default MS4 Cam

Hi, I was looking at swapping my cam with an MS4 cam but I wasnt sure about valve to piston clearence. Here is what is all done to my engine:LSX Intake Manifold by Comp Cams and FAST, Custom Ported and Polished LSX Throttle-body by Comp Cams and FAST,
High Flow Billet Aluminum Fuel Rails and Crossover by LS 1 speed, Fully Ported and Polished RGR Stage II Aluminum Race
Heads -2.02il.57 valves, Extreme Comp Springs I Retainers, Ferrea Valves, Comp 7.400" Chrome Moly Pushrods, Custom
Comp Cam .581/.581 lift-Duration @ .050 2241224-LSA 114°, SLP Racing Double Roller.Timing Chain, SLP Racing Oil
Pump, ASP Underdrive Crank Pulley, NGK TR-55 Plugs, Magnecore Wires, Suncoast Ram Air Intake and Hood, Granetelli
Motorsports MAF wi Cold Air Enhancement, TB Bypass, EGR MOD, AIR MOD, SLP Smooth Bellow, SLP TCS Module,
Skip Shift Eliminator, LS6/Z06 PCV Conversion, Hypertech 160 Degree Thermostat, SLP Air Temperature Module, SLP Fan
control switch, Modified Tensioner Pulley, Mobile 1 Oil, Carbon Fiber Engine Covers, Polished Aluminum by RK Sport and

Would I still need to fly cut for an MS3 cam ?

I would bet on it, yes! The only way to know how much cam you can run is going to be measuring your free valve drop, how far the valve travels from it's seat to either your piston or a flat table top. With that number, and knowing the stock numbers, we can tell approximately how much we can get away with!

Definitely listen to Matt. He helped me with my head/cam combo. He knows his sh*t & their mail order tune they did for me was dead on.
