Default LS1 cam options with these heads. I think I got bad info....

I have a stock bottom end LS1. My heads are:

West Coast Racing LS6 243 casting fully CNC ported.

Valve sizes: Intake = 2.02" Exhaust = 1.57"
Intake runner volume = 233.3cc
Exhaust runner volume = 86.3cc
Combustion chamber volume = 69cc (w/min.mill)

I was told that I wouldnt be able to run anything over 230 duration and about 600 lift because of PTV clearance. Is this true?

Give me some options that dont involve me fly-cutting.

If you have a similar setup then let me know what youre running.

I was planning on calling EPS today and seeing what they have.

Any advice on PTV clearance that includes a lift specification is suspect, since lift has almost nothing to do with PTV.

I agree, its the overlap that kills. Also, I would like to be around a 112 LSA because i want to throw a 150 shot at it.

So what? LSA is not determined by nitrous or not. LSA is a byproduct of the valve events chosen for the power-band desired.
