I have a similar situation I did head and cam and started of what sounded like valvetrain but then sounded like lifters bad and overall good oil pressure then next day just went away back to valvetrain noise. Oil pressure steady at 60 but sometimes goes to 40 so I'm a lil worried and may go your route on rebuild. Sorry to thread jack and will be watching this

sorry to hear that..good luck on your new build. Be sure to to get all your valvetrain checked by pros, if youre not one, like me.

it'll definately be going to a shop for the build so hopefully everything will roll smooth I'll keep updating as things occur
