New short block thanks to the "SLAP" You gotta love extended warranties. Especially when it comes to sports cars. I got them to put in a new short block because of the "piston slap". You know the slap which GM says is "normal". I have to pay a $50 deductable and the cost for the shop supplies. All in all I am looking at about $100 for the whole job. My old block only had 56,000 miles.
