Default Ls6 and ls2 valve weight???

Just picked up a set of 243 heads an the guy told me he pulled them off a 08' vette so that would mean they are ls6 but Im gonna weigh a valve because Iv read that is the only way to know the difference but I cannot find what they are supposed to weigh for the ls6 or ls2????

Thanks

The LS6 was only used in the 2001 - 2004 C5 Vettes (Z06). 2008 Vette is probably the LS2.

If these valves really are out of a 2008 Vette, then they are not LS6 valves. Let us know what you find.

08 vette is a ls3 and heads will not work on a ls1, ls2 heads were done 07 in vettes.

Sounds like the seller is either a dumbass, a liar, or very possibly, both.
