Default When are arp main studs needed?

I am forging an lq4 iron block. Debating on using new gm main bolts.

At what power level do you recommend arp main studs. Have you personally seen a failure of the gm main bolts and what happens to them at high power levels.

Never a bad idea if its already getting machined because it needs align honed after they get installed, however I wouldn't say you need them till around 600 700 at the crank na. Now with boost or spray, I wouldn't hesitate after 500.

Pretty much any time you are going with higher RPM or more power it doesn't hurt to get rid of the TTY bolts and go ARP.

Let me know if you need a deal on a new set!
