I dont know how but some of you are completely missing the point of this thread. Im not asking anything about my stg 1 heads and i will sale them after whichever head i have chosen arrived. Im only interested in who produces a better cnc'd ls6 2.5 head. TEA or TSP

I only ask because I am thinking about buying some used livernois stage 3 243 heads. For $1125... Is that a good deal?

My vote would be TEA, but understand that they would most likely require you ship your current heads in for the portwork as they typically operate on an exchange basis for the same price that TSP sells their 2.5 heads for outright. However, from the flow data I've reviewed, you'd be better off running an AI port over either of these. AI heads are best known for the amount of extra flow at low lift. I'd contact a few of these vendors and actually get their thoughts rather than just shoot from the hip.

On paper both are very close.
In reality, you are not likely to gain much rwhp going from Stage 1 to 2.5. Flow numbers are way less than 5 cfm difference on the PRC stuff at a number of different valve lifts.
Do the math, $/hp, and you might find something else is a better investment of $1500.

Advanced Induction.. easy choice.. I gained 55 rwhp and 36lb ft torque.. I have a build thread you can see if you search.. Once you send an email off to Phil @ AI you will know why I went with them instead of TEA. TEA also used an exhaust pipe on the flow tests, which sways numbers...

Swapping one ported head for another is an excellent way to launder money, not a very good way to make significant HP gains.
Save your money for an aftermarket head, or look elsewhere in your current setup for gains. What intake are you running?

I will put my $.02 worth in and agree with the couple guys who think the change isn't worth the time/effort/money.All that to gain a few cfm = a couple hp.I would also look elsewhere for hp gains.
