Default 01 Z06 retainers
I am getting a set of 01 Z06 heads here soon. I know that the 01 Z06 did not come with the hollow or sodium filled valves but were the retainers titanium?

I did not see any GM documentation showing Ti retainers used on 243 heads, given either hollow or solid valves.

can someone else check that info? I have been reading for years that the 02+ Z06 has titanium retainers but I have never seen an 02 head to verify.

C5 Z06 did not come with titanium valve spring retainers.
