Default I have an Lq4 and Lq9, but dont know which to use.

Ok just want to know which to use. I have an 04 lq9 and a 05 lq4. I bought one and then the other was such a good deal i couldn't let it go.

I just need your opinion. One is going in the car and the other is going on craigslist. anyways my plan is to put ls6 cam on one for tx2k12 and then in the future add a turbo. I will eventually forge the bottom end. I know the lq4 is better for fi and the lq9 for n/a. but how much more hp will the lq9 make with the ls6 than the lq4.

people run the lq4 in stock form alot because its lower compression already... so stock for stock the lq4 would be better for FI..

but once you forge them it doesnt matter because youll only probably reusing the block and crank and getting new everything else..

So I should use the lq4, boost it, blow it and then forge it.

ha yeah that seems to be a good idea... it all depends on how much you want to spend.

It all comes down to cash money!! you can boost it stock and run it on a safe tune and mild boost for awhile..

or you can run higher boost and risk hurting the stock engine..

or forge it with rods, rod bolts, pistons, gapped rings for turbo, pinned main caps with arp studs..

its all up to you...
