LQ4 Build Questions.... We just bought an LQ4 engine and we have came up with what we want to put in it which is:
LQ4 standard block
243 heads
Megadeath cam kit with cam 244/242 612/610 112 lsa, springs, and pushrods
Flat top pistons w/ relief cut
Ls2 intake or FAST 102
102mm FAST Big Mouth TB
Stock Crank
Stock Rods
We haven't been able to find anybody that can tell us that this combination works... We have seen LS2 GTOs a Vettes running the cam/head set up...We have also contemplated using L92s be we like the higher compression of the 243 heads. Can someone tell us if this combo works?

I would definately pick a better cam. that is a reverse split cam made for basically a vehicle with a shitty intake and good exhaust tract (LS2). there are much better cam's out there.
with the combination you have, I would suggest a custom cam from PatG. of course, after having custom cam's in the past, I wouldnt ever go back to a shelf cam.
