ok......all torque to yeild bolts are all single use intentional. once you stretch them for an assembly, they are not going to give you the same torque to yeild the second time around.
straight from the LSX manual....

I don't have the part numbers off-hand, but GMPartsdirect charges about $2.50 per bolt (mains & side bolts).
So, 4 bolts (2 types on each main) x 5 mains = 20 bolts x $2.50 per=$50....+ 2 small bolts per main x ???$2.00 per = $20 total=$70 + ship & handling.
If you prefer new bolts, it's approx less than $100 for oem bolts.
Also, your friendly dealer should have them in stock...just an alternative!

They are torque to angle, not to be confused with torque to yield. They are re-usable except for the side bolts as previously stated. I would probably not re-use them more than 2 or 3 times though.

I realize that the side (little) bolts are tty, but many people reuse them.
Here is one....post#3

The only reason the side bolts are not supposed to be reused is because they have a patch of sealant applied to the heads.
Direct from GM service information:
"In order to prevent engine block oil leakage, install NEW M8 crankshaft bearing cap side bolts.
The crankshaft bearing cap M8 side bolts have a pre-applied sealant patch applied to the bolt flange."
Document ID #73768 Crankshaft and Bearing Installation.
Therefore, both the main cap bolts AND the main side bolts CAN BE REUSED, however, you will want to apply a small bead of silicone to the underside of the side bolt head to seal it up. Make sure you clean the old sealant off FIRST.
sorry...just had to throw my two cents in here.
