Default rockers and spring rate

i have a custom cam with texas speeds 675 spring rate and i had a set of scorpions that broke. i was wondering if the spring rate is to much for 1.7 aluminum rockers? the cam lift is 598 and 606

Like I said in the other thread, email this guy, or call and ask for him. Great guy to deal with, trust me.

FYI, it states right on their website: " Easily handle .950” lift and 950 lbs of open spring pressure", it says that this applys to all Scorpion rockers. So even though the PRC .675" valve springs have a high spring rate (471lbs opening pressure) your Scorpion rockers shouldn't have broke, as long as the springs/rockers were set-up properly.

Perhaps the springs weren't properly shimmed and began experiencing surge.
These harmonics were absorbed most by the softest alloy in the whole
system which are the rockers. Just a thought. What about PTV issues ??????
Are the broken rockers intake only ???????

The reason I'm almost positive it's the old design is b/c of WHERE the break is. They had a bad run a few years back and they were breaking at the PR cup, which appears to be the case.
