Default Piston to valve clearance? and head gasket thickness?

I have an 84 camaro with lq4 with 825 mighty demon, XER281hr-12 comp cam .595 int .598 ex lift, gmpp intake, 317 stock heads and gaskets, , comp stock length pushrods, comp promagnum 1.7 rocker arms, 4000 stall and 3.73 gears. I have a set of Patriot Stage 3 ls6 head with 2.08 int valves. I am looking to install these heads soon, and I am trying figure out what I might run into. Question is has anyone run a similar combo, and is there ptv issues? And should I run and thinner gasket for more compression? Tahnks for you help!

Im going through the same thing now, but with a different set up. The only right answer, and the one you're going to get from 90% of the guys on here is that the only way to know for sure is to measure. Either with the clay method or the more precise dial indicator and checker spring method.

I still plan on measuring that to be sure. I just want to know if I should plan extra $$ for cutting the pistons.

Measure, but I'm 87.65% sure you will have plenty of ptv clearance with the 281 cam
