Default which part is broken?

here's the sound my car is making:

http://youtu.be/I5VfzcXwi_Y

it's a stock ls6 bottom end, brand new prc heads, tsp ms3 cam, new ls7 lifters, comp .7425 (i think) pushrods, and trunion upgraded stock rockers.

Rod bearing, broken piston, what do you guys think?

I would stop running it until I had at least looked under the valve covers for something amiss with the valve train.

I popped the valve cover off, rocker arms all are snug, no broken springs.

How about turning by hand and looking to see if the valves all appear to work properly. Did you measure for those pushrods? It sounds worse than just not firing, but is check that too. Next step would be to check the oil and filter for metals, but you were in the top end, so you should look at that thoroughly first.

alright, the car is sitting beside the garage where I'm about to work on it at, just need to clean it out and start it.

Any ideas what it's going to cost me to get this block cleaned up and repaired? any more ideas on cost for forged parts like bearings, rods, and pistons?

also, how much does it typically cost to get my current block machined to a 383 stroker?

If you're starting to look at forged internals & stroker, you may as well check for sponsor stroker short block prices.
If you're not in a hurry you just may be lucky & get a great deal somewhere.
