I'm not gonna be doing any main or head studs and the crank I got only needs to be polished

We have plenty of options for balanced rotating assemblies if you have not already bought pistons and rods...

I have rods already ad was gonna order wiseco pistons..but machine just called they said for them to assemble and all machine work is gonna be 1500 I asked how much will come off if I assemble and we don't go with main studs they said 1200

I'm thinking if I buy the summit ls block it's $675 on sale and cylinders are already come finished and blocks decked
I would only need balancing then would this be a cheaper route or even the same
If it's the same I'll go that way considering I'll be going to iron block and a 4.030 bore

Honesty if you go with the summit block and TSP rotating ***. you will probably break even. My machine shop bill came to 2800, that was with eagle rods and srp forged pistons on factory crank. Oh they installed cam and main bearings too. I had to install everything else.
Good luck!
