pat g 230/236 or isky 240/246 108lsa
Sup guys i have a 6.0 going into my camaro next week. I do alot of street racing and track so its 50/50. I have 2 cams on my shelf a custom grind pat g 230/236 112lsa and a 240/246 108lsa they will have a set of ported ls6 heads milled down to 60cc's. Which cam will fit me best. Its a 6spd car. I dont care about drivability. 4.10 gears in the rear. thanks

I beg to differ. It would be a close fit even if the heads were 62cc. I traded off a set of AFR 205 heads with a 230/236 112 LSA cam and that was very close. The AFR heads yeild a little more PTV clearance too. If it were me, I'd measure and be ready to flycut.

They were the heads and cam I traded, so I'm not sure what the exact clearance was, but I know he said it was close on the intake side. You may be right and it will probably be ok, but you don't want it to be too close and then miss a shift and be up **** creek.

If those heads have stock valves in them I don't see it being an issue at all with the small cam. The ICL will play a role in this. The more it's advanced the more intake ptv you will lose.

Thanx for the advice guys. And yes the ls6 heads has stock valves. The previous owner said he ran them with his ms4 no flycutting but im going to check for myself with my cam. I would think it would fit no problem
