Default link bar lifters......which ones?

Replacing the lifters when I do the cam in the next month or so. Looking at a link bar lifter set though don't know which ones or why. Cam is gonna be the 228r or similar. Stock 853 heads.

I currently have Morel 5206 lifters. They are very high quality. From what I've been told.... the lifters typically rank in this order:

1. Lunati (micro polishing is a plus over the Morels)
2. Morel
3. Comp Cams

The price of the lifters reflects the rankings to be honest, as with most parts.

Id say go with brian tooleys SLR lifters. Just as good and cheaper.

Search for my thread: "link bar lifters get in here"

Oh and morel/lunati are the same part. Also discussed in my thread.

Morel or Lunati link bar lifters. They are expensive but work really well. have you talked to Don about it yet? when he specs out your cam setup make sure you let him know that you are doing the link bar lifters ahead of time.
