I know what you're going to say, " do a search!!!" well i have and i'm not any closer to a solution. My 85 jeep has a 2003 5.3 vortec in it. all emissions were removed from the motor. the jeep uses a factory fuel tank with 2 vents coming out. I have strong raw fuel smell after running the jeep then parking it in the garage. I purchased a vapor canister off a 2004 chevy trailblazer, no electrical hookup. as i said before, the motor has no emissions, not even wires, so it has no wiring going to the Purge Solenoid on top of the manifold. my question is, how do i connect a vapor canister? is there a way to hook it up without the sensors and etc. sort of like the old days before electronics took over? any info i would appreciate !!
