Default 70 chevelle wants Ls power

I have a 70 chevelle. Had this car for 30 yrs. Want to do something new. I was thinking 5.3 or 6.0 with matching overdrive transmission. I was wondering how complicated this is gonna be since it will be left fuel injected . I know someone has done this on this site surely. Any help would be appreciated.

Swaps in Chevelles are extremely common. The hybrid section is a great place to start. Also, the wiring may seem intimidating at first, but its really not that bad at all. Be ready to sell all your old school Chevy engine parts, once you go LS you'll never go back.

you can get 5.3 for $500,but the 6.0 will make 400+rwhp with a cam swap.look for a lq9,it is the high compression 6.0 .

With a Chevelle, Go as big as you can afford. Don't cheap out and get a 5.3. PM if you have any swap Qs. I put one in my 78 Z, the general idea is the same for any GM muscle car.
