rod resizing machine shop
Does anyone know a machine shop with ls engine experience in or around southeast Georgia? Need to get my rods resized and was looking for a good machine shop. Also what is the average price for this service?

I was told by my machinist, that the ls1 cracked cap rods should not be resized. He did however say he could do a very light line hone just to keep them round and clean them up. For the block wash, finish hone on cylinders, and rod big end touch up, along with freeze plugs, cost me $250.

Yeh thats the problem little to no machine shops around here have ls1 experience and I don't want my parts to be practice pieces. I'd be willing to ship them out if someone knows an experienced shop relatively close
