That's going to be a fairly expensive crank I would think. You would be better off getting a 6.0 block and staying with a 4" crank. Less expensive and more available. I have also seen shops say they really prefer staying with a 4" cranks due to rod angles or something like that.

Can a 4.250 crank be made to work in a 5.3 bored to 3.905 and get a 408 out of it?
All for what, a savings of a few hundred bux by going with a 5.3 iron block as opposed to a 6.0 iron block.
Do it right the first time. If you want a 408, get an LQ4/9 block.
