Default 4.125" bore LQ4 with block fill?

First off, block is being sonic checked today...

I paid $250 for this LQ4 with 2 trashed rods. So little investment. Cam makes a great lamp, and heads that I can port...blah blah

So why 4.125"? Well I bought a LS7 rotating assembly, drysump pan, pump, front/rear covers, LS7 valley vover, cam, and lifters for $700 with one trashed piston. I then bought a stock oil tank/lines for $300. I'm using the lifters in my 5.3 ($50 value) and got $80 for cam. Yesterday I shipped off pan and tank for $700 shipped (netted $660). So reall I have forged rotating assembly and titanium rods for $210. I scored a free piston so just need a good set of rings.

I keep seeing people say .080-.090" max bore on these blocks. I have also seen some say 4.1"+ with filling water jacket.

I figure I could do at least a 1/2 fill if not a touch more. Has anyone actually done this? It would sure be a cheap roll of the dice for me... If he says it's borderline I'll do it.

Opinions?

I'm sure the sonic test will tell you what you need to know.

The few iron 6.0L blocks I've sonic checked were about .110 on the front & back but well over than on thrust and non-thrust.
As long as it's your money, I'm all for it!
