Default Damaged Rod bolt thread!!

Hey guys, i was pulling down my lS1 tonight and i noticed that one of the ARP rod bolts was quite tight to undo, Once undone the thread looked slightly burred so i tried to run a clean threaded bolt down rod and it just started to bind up. So in this situation im thinking if i just run a tap down the thread of the rod it should be ok?? Does anyone know what thread a stock LS1 rod bolt is??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
cheers john.

I wouldn't run a tap, that will cut material out which you don't want to do on a critical thread joint like that. I would consider a different rod just to be safe.
