Default Does anyone have a soundclip of an f13 114lsa

Hey guys, I know this would be better placed in the multimedia area but no one ever looks there lol. I can only seem to find the f13 on a 112 on youtube or here the 114 vids are old and never seem to work. SO if anyone has one or can make one I'd really appreciate it. The cam has 3 degrees overlap so any cam with that should sound close enough.

Thanks

Depending on the entire exhaust setup you might not even hear that cam with only 3 degrees overlap lol

3 degrees of overlap still has a lot of thump.

Really? I've never ran a aftermarket cam with that little overlap, so I just assumed it may not be too noticable if the exhaust was pretty tame as well

ya youtube has plenty of f13 cams but they're all on a 112 which comes out to 7 degrees of overlap. if anyone has one on a 114 i'd love to hear it.

ya man even 0 overlap cams will thump, a 228r on a 114 is a great example of that lol.

everyone interpretation of that is different to some a tv2 on a 112 sounds stock and to others it chops lol. i found this which are the same specs as the f13 but on different lobes. Will the lobes change the sound of the cam or is it safe to say it will sound like it.

for some reason this link wont play for me just click on it to go to youtube and it will play

It will be noticeable. When I had my original EPS 230/234 114 it had 4 degrees of overlap. I saw a couple of cars with similar cams and they all had noticeable cam idle.

Lowering the idle speed or having a really loud exhaust can certainly amplify the sound.
