Default LS6 conversion???

This topic has probably already been talked about, but is the GM performance LS6 conversion for the LS1 worth the $2,000 bucks??? I saw in the Summit mag that they have one for 99-00 that comes with ls6 cylinder heads,ls6 cam,bolts,gaskets,ls6 manifold, coolant air bleed pipe. Is there anything that might need to be upgraded cause it wont be able to handle the conversion or is just a good idea to upgrade like mass airflow sensor or converter or maybe a chip???

yes its been talked about, recently too. and no its not worth it, you can get a h/c kit for cheaper and put out more horsepower. it all justs depends on what your looking for. when its said and done your looking at 350rwhp with the conversion on a stock car. you'll need a tune with the package other then that everything else stock can handle the setup. if you have an a4 you'll want a bigger stall. if you want the most out of the setup you'll want the typical bolt ons as well.
