Default LS1 results on 235/239 .621 .624 112

Curious if anyone has any results on this spec or a similar cam, dyno or track times would be appreciated, I'm running this camshaft in a stock bottom end ls1 with fast 102/92, fast rails, 243 heads, ls9 injectors on e85, with an A4 trans.

I don't have that cam, but I do have a similar setup to yours.

Something I've heard here as of late, but the LS9 injectors themselves have a different type of spray pattern and aren't exactly ideal for NA applications. It's more of a "spray line" and not so much a mist, if that makes sense.

Anyone else confirm this?

Ya the pattern is different however good tuners on hptuners forum have no problem using them in NA applications you just have to know the differences and tune for them accordingly. After all I ready I would have no problem using them if my build warranted it. The myth that they dont work well is kind of like the FAST 102 being too big for a 346, lots of talk but never any proof lol

Exactly what I was wondering. It was more about the spray pattern itself being angled, and not ideal for an NA app.

ya the ls9 and lsa heads have a different shape to the runner suited for that injector but from everyone says on hptuners forum its not the end of the world for regular heads and its a great injector

Right now it's a 4l60 with a 3400 Phoenix converter , doing 4l80 with a 4000ish tci or circle D, got a buddy who is using HP tuner and the tunes pretty immaculate. Ls9s because I needed a lot more flow for the C/H/I on e85, they seem to work great and have no issues, almost have them maxed out so I'll be going to ID1000s in the future.

The cars a beast for what it is and the AFR is spot on, all fuel trims are within .3% of perfect... LOTS of hours in idle and run time tuning, so id say the ls9s are applicable, I'm not a tuner but my guys good so it may have a lot to do with it

How does one tune for a different spray pattern?

From what I understand you would play with the pulse rate and injector timing. Again they will run fine if you just convert the data but to get them perfect you'll need a good tuner who knows how to play with those things. I trust DStek on there and he supports them so I would not hesitate to run them assuming I have a good tuner
