Crane and Patriot both make reasonably priced springs that fit into the stock spring pocket. Here's the two packages we offer for either spring:

40-144832PKG2 Crane Cams Dual Valve Springs, Patriot Performance Titanium Retainers, Hardened Spring Seats, GM Valve Guide Seals $340.99

40-144832PKG3 Patriot Dual Valve Springs, Patriot Performance Titanium Retainers, Hardened Spring Seats, GM Valve Guide Seals $295.99

Its a little harder than installing single springs since your doing valve seals at the same time, but once they are in you have much more piece of mind.

IMO, I would go with TSP "Gold" package. Better price and the patriots are second to none from what I read around here.

when I install a cam and spring package for someone I require that they run the patriot springs. Spring failure is a serious *** issue, don't try to cut corners in that area.

I don't think you can call and get them cheaper than $295.99 a set (which is a very good price to begin with!) direct unless you buy in bulk. They sell the cylinder heads $100 more than we do so that customers buy from distributors for example.
