Default Did my first cam install Sunday!

I searched around for over 6 months before I chose a cam, well I made my decision and I installed the TR220 but with 112 lsa in my 2002 this past Sunday. I have already driven it around 200 miles or so and I absolutely LOVE it. It has a slight lope at idle, but nothing terrible. I am on stock programming and haven't set a single SES light. I didn't drill the TB or anything, just started it right up and have been driving ever since. The power increase was actually more than I hoped it would be. I am going to redyno now that I have the cam in another week or so to see how much I picked up. I would suggest this cam to anyone that wants a good power increase without sacrificing anything on your cars manners. Besides the cam, I installed comp 918 valve springs and stock length hardened push rods. If you have anymore questions about it, feel free to PM me.

How hard did you find the install to be, since this was your first? Just curious as I hope to do my first sometime soon.
Thanks!

Let me start out by saying that I did the install 100% completely by myself, not one second of help from anyone. With that being said, it took me about 12 hours or so for the install. Of that 12 hours, probably 2 of it was wasted on trying to get the POS $13.95 valve spring tool from autozone to work. I feel like I could do the next one in around 8 hours or so by myself and much less time than that with one person helping. By far, the hardest part was the valve springs, other than that, the crank bolt holding the balancer was a PIA to get loose. I used the guide from ls1info.com and it was pretty helpful. If you have some patience and even a little bit of mechanical knowledge, you can do it yourself, just invest in a GOOD valve spring tool.
