Welp...
This weekend I Dyno'd the car for the first time.
I was kinda dissapointed.
98 Formula (36K on the odo)
295 HP 356 TQ
The best its ran so far is 12.70 @ 106
See sig for current mods.

Due to the low HP numbers, I had to order up some new mods.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Here is whats on tap for the April 30th install:
Comp LS1 Custom cam 224/224 .581/.581 114 LSA
(New rods/springs)
Mac Headers with offroad pipe.
It will also be dyno tuned.

Is this gonna be fine with stock heads?
Or will I simply not be getting the most out of it ??
This is a daily driver and it *should* remain street friendly... I hope! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

This is my first cam upgrade.
Any educated guesses as to what I may gain?

Those are some nice track times for the HP <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I would think that with that cam & tunning that your car should be pushing around 370+RWHP

Your stock heads should handle the cam fine with some 918 springs and new pushrods. I would agree that it should dyno around 370rwhp, but I would get a 3" cat back as well. That stock pipe going back from the headers may not make for the best combo, even with the cutout

If I lose a little in the exhaust or stock heads..no biggie...
I'm looking for more HP up top.. and 3rd gear digs in an A4 are 'less than optimal'..yet nothing a manual drop to first cant handle.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
I'm at least hoping to gain enough to keep up with those silly 03 Cobras.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
I havent met up with one yet.. And certainly don't want to lose to one..

That sounds great man. But I thought the 224/224 .581/.581 cam only can in the 112 and not the 114. Can you get in the 114. Where are you getting the cam at.

Thanks alot, I was thinking about that cam and everyone was telling me you can only get it in the 112. Now that I know that I am going to get it then.
