Broken Isky Spring issue fixed.....
I got my new spring today and a friend stopped over for a few minutes to help me swap it out.
Thanks Ryan, couldn't have done it without ya...
The only snag we had was those damn keepers. One fell into the power steering rack. Once we found it, everything went smooth...
Car started right up and sounded like normal. I let it run for about 15-20 minutes so I can get the first heat/cool cycle out of the way.
The spring cam out in 3 pieces and the valve seat looked fine. We rotated the intake valve and it was smooth just like the exhaust valve next to it.
Here's the first thread from last week:

The one that Isky sent me had it in there but all the other ones that Absolute speed installed didn't have it. We took it out so they were all the same.
I wonder why Jay at Absolute Speed took the inner spring out in the first place. I tried to get ahold of him but like most people, no luck....
