Default My AFR 205 VS 225 predictions...

Similar setups: 11.0:1 + 230-240 cam + 90mm intake and TB

If the flow numbers are true and they are going to be realistic numbers for production heads I believe that the 225s and 205s will make similar(within 5-7 rwhp up to 5000-5500. After 5500 the 225s are going to take off and make more horsepower. @ 6800 I think that the 225s will make 18-26rwhp more than the 205s. What do you guys think?

Im still unsure about the AFR's. There arent enough independent tests for me to be a believer yet.

I have talked to a couple of guys in the corvette world that help me out from time to time and there are at least 8 cars I know of that have made 480+RWHP from 205s.

Yes almost everyone dynoed before they swapped the AFR H & C combo. Its tough to tell how much the heads are putting down but they are killer.

The only people I have seen that get shitty numbers have mismatched setups.

I saw the 225's today and they are a nice piece. The chambers seem really small though. Interested what they will put down. I am waiting for the edelbrocks to come out. Those will be sweet with some porting and an ls2 intake.
