Re: Wiseco Stock Replacement Piston?
why not run the Diamond pistons spec'ed to 20 psi of boost?
As far as rings...DO NOT RUN TOTAL SEAL RINGS https://ls1tech.com/ubb/ultimatebb.p...=012194#000001

Re: Wiseco Stock Replacement Piston?
We do have the 11503 piston which was designed to handle 20ps1 of boost. I have these on the shelf, your cost would be $570.00 with the pins. Rings will run you $199.00 and that is for a steel top ring. It will take the heat a lot better than the standard plasma moly ductile iron rings. I would stay away from the gapless rings.

Re: Wiseco Stock Replacement Piston?
you can get (Diamond Pistons) them for Stock Rod Length, or 6.125 rod if ur changing to fordged rods too... all u need to do is have a hone to 3.905 and ur gold...
that pretty much covers it
Im running them in my block. 3.905 Piston for a 6.125 Lunati Billet Rod

Re: Wiseco Stock Replacement Piston?
I can also make them for you guy's in a stock bore size. It would cost about $30 extra bucks to do it and would take us about a week or so to get them done.
Thanks,
Chris

Re: Wiseco Stock Replacement Piston?
So assuming you want to build up the bottom end, what all is involved?
Pistons, Rods, any bolts?
also, I would imagine labor being quite a bit more on these parts than a cam or heads, is that true?
TIA
Alex

Re: Wiseco Stock Replacement Piston?
Jason - Our direct replacement pistons weigh ~ 405 grams. That is pretty darn close to stock if my memory serves me. If anything we should be lighter.
Thanks,
Chris

Re: Wiseco Stock Replacement Piston?
Thanks Chris. I have a stock piston w/ pin at the shop I can weigh. If you can tomorrow, post the piston weight and .945 pin weight for use with stock rods.
