Default Cam Degree and PTV Measurment Question

1. If I have a 114+1 cam, what is the ICL* for degreeing it straight up 113 or 114?

2. If I use the "lightweight spring and dial-indicator" method for measuring PTV clearance, what are the minimum recommended allowances for intake and exhaust? A book I'm reading says 0.08 for intake and 0.10 for exhaust.

Thanks

When installing a cam, anything above or below the LSA number is retarded or advanced on the ICL. A 114 LSA/114ICL is straight up. 114LSA/113ICL is 1 degree advance. 114LSA/115ICL is 1 degree retarded. When checking the P/V I'd use .100/.100
