camshaft position sensor, cylinder #2 misfire, throttle sensor bad...????
first off i have a '98 formula ws6
a4 w/64k miles on it, stock except SLF 85mm MAF and SLP LM exhaust.
ok so i took my car to autozone today to get it scanned as per Constrictor98T/A's advice. it popped a bunch of codes, 5 or so about my O2, then i got a throttle position sensor, a misfire in cylinder #2, camshaft position sensor "A" is out of range for current engine operating conditions, the voltage signal from camshaft position sensor "A" is too low for current engine operating conditions. i just replaced my plugs and wires, and #8 was misfiring for a day or two til i finally got it on there. it was fine for a few days, then it started idling like absolute ****.
so i've been stumped as to what could cause this. i've been getting really bad vibrations in my car lately, and its gotten much worse. the car surges/hesitates, and has difficulty starting the first time. it sometimes feels like its gonna die, and i can understand that now with the camshaft position sensor issue.
i guess my questions are for you guys, what could cause this and what can i do to fix it?
btw tomorrow i am getting a pr of new spark plugs to test out cylinder two to see if its fouling spark plugs or if i just got a bad plug the first time around.
any help or advice is welcome, i'm hurtin right now <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

Have you checked the ground connections? Heavy braided wire hooked up to rear of drivers side head. And from the block to the frame.

where is the connection for the engine block? i don't remember seeing those two connections when i did my plugs/wires but then again i wasn't looking either. i'll have to check from below the motor as well later today when i get a chance, my buddy has my jack/stands at his house. oh well. thanks for the tip, i'll let ya know what i find out when i get the chance.
