Default how well will this set up work ???

will the 224 112lsa work well with stock ported heads, long tubes, and other free mods..? i have a 2001 6spd with stock 3.42 gears. the car has 26,000 miles on the clock.. or what would be the best cam&head combo you would suggest..the car would be a daily driver and some weekend 1/4 time..I want the car to run as good as it will sound??

thanks guys.

i have a suggestion. use the search button, thats one of the most commented on cam available.

if you're going for heads and cam, i suggest you consult some vendors on their packages, they tend to work real well.

otherwise, go for a FMS -13 cam and some TEA/FFHP LS6 heads, or PP "LS6" style heads, depending on your budget, imho. that'd be a kickass combo. that or the GM combo of their CNC'd ls6 heads and the ASA cam. thats another badass combo, plus you'll never have to swap springs again.
