Default Got my heads flowed today

For those who don't know, I bought a used set of Absolute Speed Stage II 5.3's from a member on the board. (I am aware of the current situation with Absolute Speed, no comments needed). Allan @ FMS then took them and worked the bowls where he saw room for improvement to help the exhaust side. He also port matched the 90mm intake. Steven at TR (SAR2K) did my exhaust port/combustion chamber polishing, and did an excellent job.
Here are the numbers : (exhaust flowed with no pipe)
Intake --------- Exhaust------ Exhaust (pre allan)
.100 68-------- 59 -------------58
.200 135--------109-------------108
.300 196-------153-------------149
.400 244-------186-------------165
.500 277-------211-------------178
.600 299-------224-------------196
.650 293-------227-------------205
.700 290-------230-------------206

As you can see, Allan's porting did WONDERS on the exhaust. Special thanks to him and Candy for helping me get all this together, as well as Jason99T/A for flowing the heads and doing the install when we get a chance.

Good flow numbers!
Smart move having Alan clean–up your heads and match porting the FAST intake.
Your car should put down some go numbers.

We had the same issue. The intake ports looked good, and the exhaust needed help. Greg Good did some work on ours and picked them up.

Yep, the intake flow #s are typos. He listed the .050" numbers. Here are the correct #s:

.100 68
.200 135
.300 196
.400 244
.500 277
.600 299
.700 293

Intake port was flowed with a radiused entry
No pipe on the exhaust
SF1020 flow bench
3.900" bore

Oops. Thanks for correcting, Jason. I don't know how I misread those numbers on that nice, clear printout.

Jason did all that when I first got the heads. I believe they were 64cc, he may be able to give you the rest of the info when he gets on.

They were CNC'd, it might not look like it since they were worked by hand after.

Yeah, my chambers had a rough finish originally. Steven Stumpf polished them along with the exhaust ports for me.

What did that cost, ballpark figure, to go over the exhaust port?

What size valve's were used on those heads? And did you get the original flow sheet from the original owner or any #'s. Just trying to see if his #'s were legit!!

He advertised 308/217. That's actually not terribly off as I've been told Thunder's bench flows a little lower than most.
