several people already make em. From what I have seen they don't net much gains over the fast lsx.

More Performance claims 80 HP can be obtained over an LS6 intake at 7500 RPM. The largest gains are found in the RPM range of 4500-8500 though. That's some serious gains in an intake. Below is a pic of one of theirs, shown with a BBK tb, but i think they can do a 105mm. Don't see why not.

Nasty Performance also offers one, but I'm not sure about the gains from them. I do know that he can put a 105mm throttle body on there.

Soeed Inc. makes one also I think, but i have never seen it.

There are others out there that off them, you just have to ask around.

If your going to make one, it seems as though it should be 105mm (Wilson's manifold, or ???), and powder coating to keep temps down.

just my $0.02.

A NA sheetmetal intake takes more than fab skills to do well. Most sheetmetal intakes on a LS1 have the problem of having way to short of a runner. If you are doing a intake for boosted motors it's easier since runner length means very little in comparison.

I wish him luck but it's usually a very hard road to follow.

Werd,

I've seen a few up close since you said that and there is a very short runner length.

BTW

Call me fool.

Absolutly, it is almost useless, unless (that looks funny) your in a forced induction.
