G5x3 or RPM 5 for me?? Comparo Inside. Really confused between the two cams. Leaning towards the RPM 5 because of the nasty power it makes on the bottle. The specs are setup perfect for nitrous too.
Anyways. Both are big cams but it seems like the rpm 5 is a tad bigger. It makes more power too. But looks like it makes slightly less at lower rpms and mid range but makes up for it uptop.
Also that guy sprayed a 75 shot and made some NASTY #s. 550rwhp 592rwtq. Thats why Im leaning towards this cam...because I want a solid n/a performer and something solid for the bottle.
Heres both dyno sheets.
LG g5x3 with LG headers off road x, intake, exhaust, and pulley.
Heres the RPM 5 with Kooks headers off road x, intake, exhaust, stock pulley.
This is a good comparision because all other mods are the same pretty much. No FAST INTAKE or PORTED TB on either.
What do you guys think?

I know for a fact that the RPM dyno is supost to be rated low. Like 20hp less than LG's dyno. I know a couple of people that have dynoed on both dynos and RPM's is lower.
I have also see the car that the RPM 5 cam is in. It is much more hard core cam and will get you some 10's passes but i think the guy has ported heads on his vette.
