Default just ordered me an F4 114

can't wait to get it in. how much hp do you think i can pick up? i'm running the GT2-3 right now putting down 371/349 with mods in sig.

yes, I think you need gears even though some will argue that point.

Install would be easy if you aren't swapping springs. Like half the time. Oh, and BUY A PULLEY!! LOL J/K

Why? That is a smaller cam, and will make more low end TQ than the bigger cams. I've riden in a stock geared FM13 cammed car and it was fast as ****, which is a substantially bigger cam than the F4.

Saying the car "need" gears with a 226ish cam is a little extreme, but they are a bonus on any cammed motor. I personally wouldn't go over a 3:73 with the F4 anyway, it makes PLENTY of tq.

The F13 is bigger than the F14???

They're close, the F14 has slgithly more duration and lift, but they have completely different lobe designs.

i plan on it this time. i'll be keeping the springs the same but going with hardened pushrods.
