Talking 6.0 iron block 370 + 244/248 cam up and running... VID!

Well I just completed my 6 liter swap the other day. I turned it over a few times with the fuel line fuse pulled until I got oil pressure. Once I did, i plugged in the fuse and it started right up. It sounds mean as hell FINALLY, all of my troubles are over and the past 3 months of work have all come together. It surges down low pretty bad and it seems like one or more cylinders aren't firing sometimes but I checked all the plug wires and they seem fine. When I'm driving it it seems to not have much power then all of a sudden it will just kick in. I'm hopefully getting it tuned and dynoed to fix all that this week and then it's time to cruise

Vid!

It's on a 112 LSA with +4 advance ground in. Other mods include ported TB, LS6 intake manifold, manley dual springs, double roller chain, ported ls6 pump, forged internals, lid, k&n, slp cold air, 85 mm MAF, hooker shorties, LM catback, plus other cosmetic/drivetrain stuff.

Thanks for the compliments guys

Shorties with this setup. Thats kinda funny.
My best friend just had his 370 tuned with a T Rex cam in it and made 487.
Have fun and good luck.

The shorties came on the car, and emissions is a concern where I live. I never bothered to change em and the severe lack of funds now doesn't help.

Derek, your friend with the 370 with the T-rex cam, what kind of heads did he use?? how is the driveability??? I am currently in the middle of a 6L build, just looking at all the possibilities.

Haha, thanks. I'm glad you've been following along. I'm so damn happy as well... but i have NO money for longtubes although I need them desperately I'm leaving on Monday for CA for a job this summer so I won't even be able to enjoy this for much longer... IF it even gets tuned before I leave. I haven't been able to rip it out at all cuz the PCM is so confused
