mods are: ls6 intake, comp 224 cam, comp pushrods, comp 918 valve springs, ls6 ported oil pump, p/p tb, MAF ported ends, rollmaster timming chain. those are all the power mods, oh, and the NOS 5177 kit, and i do get on it alot, but still it seems like once a month i have to add a quart of oil to it.

Default oil consumption

If you dont have a catch can, you might want to look into the intake and see if its oily at all. You are probably pulling it through the pcv, and check the pcv and clean or replace if necessary. When i put my catch can on my intake was very oily, and that was before the blower. Once installed i never use any oil. I change it more often than most but it is never down.

1-1.5 qts here between 4k mile oil changes. No leaks. I have a catch can but that only catches about 1/4 to 1/2 a quart. Engine burns the rest.
