Default oil change

Does anybody actually change their oil in 3 months even if they havent put on 3,000 miles, or just go by mileage?

I go by mileage. I would pay attention to the time if you only drove it 1500 miles per year.

My car sits all winter, generally from Oct. to March and I change the oil at least once during that time.
