Head Porting? Reads
Does anyone have any good links to what is involved in porting and polishing some heads. I have a set of 6.0 heads, that i will do some polishing on...but was considering trying to do some porting on them myself.
I have never done this before; what are people experiences. I tried doing the search link but no one really talks about porting them yourself.
Please post your experiences. Thanks.

I had mine milled and then ported them myself. I think they turned out pretty well. I am happy with the results. They are by no means as good as any of the sponsor's heads but they are also a lot less expensive. I have about 16 hours invested in the whole job (spread out over a few days). That is my .02. Hope this helps.

I ported my own heads- i'd say i impressed myself with them.. They netted me .4 in the 1/4 mile with stock valves. Just a tip- if your gonna try to be a pro- copy a pro, in other words, study a profesionally done set of heads, and buy yourself a good burette kit and some inside micrometers..
