Default truck crank

ive got a 2002 lq9 im mildly building is it worth putting an ls1 crank in or just stay with my truck crank. and what can i expect to pay for a set of stock sized forged pistons. which brand?

Probably not worth switching. If you use a Corvette oilpan and high rpm build you might have some windage problems. But mostly they are the same.
