Default Cheater Cam w/partiot LS6 stage 2 Heads ????

How do you think the Patriot heads would work with the cheater cam compared to the AFRs it seems that the AFRs are better but are they worth the price diffrence. Can anyone give my a good estimate or proven data on the horsepower diffrence between the two heads.

you can use the PP's just fine, just dont expect the same results using a different combo then what the package was designed around.

I figured there would be some performance loss, I was just wondering if any one every tried the combo. Have the patriot heads had a lot of problems I dont want to buy cracked heads.

i have had my patriot heads for a couple thousand miles and many passes........ no problems at all. car pulls well up high for having such a small cam (got an MTI stealth 2). made pretty decent power. in my opinion i don't think the power difference is going to be worth the price difference between the two. if you have a lot of money and are a very serious racer then get the AFR's... to me the AFR's just aren't worth the extra money.

What kind of times do you run?? Whats your setup like? How does the MTI stealth 2 sound can you tell theres a cam in the car?

Thanks

4th Gen... if you are looking to save money... have you thought about the DART Pro1 LS1 heads?

According to the flow charts.... as a cast head they flow almost as well as the AFR's which are ported and polished.

$1300 gets you Darts assembled. 205's and 225's both cost the same.... check em out on Jegs.

I'd like to hear more on this too. I'd really like to hear track and/or dyno results from the PP Stage 2 LS6 heads + the Cheatr cam or the Stealth II. I am considering this combo on my stock 01 Z06 through 100% stock exhaust for a stealth setup. Thanks!

Wow, thats an impressive dyno number. I would have guessed his MPH would be a little higher though at 401rwhp. Still damn impressive for just a cheatr cam though!!
