Default has anyone used this to clean bolt holes??

i was thinking this would be easier to use to clean the head bolt holes instead of the bolt. has anyone used one of these? id get a nylon bristle instead of wire so i dont mess anything up of course.

Hmmm... I don't see why it wouldn't work. It might take a bit more time as the crap may fall back into the threaded hole each time you pull the bristles out, but it can't hurt to try. I think the slotted bolt is the most effective way thus far, but who knows, this may just work better.

thats why i want to try it. id also spray the hole with wd40 then vaccum it out, blow it down with air and see if there is anything left in there. its worked in the past only i didnt use the wire brush... just something new i though id try out.
