How much shims would be required to bring up the seat pressure to 145lbs and the .600 to 385lbs?

3.65# increase for every .010 shim, so about .030 will get you approx. 145# @ 1.77 installed, based on above figures

Is that spring rate OK, I get 331 lb/in (or maybe I screwed up the calc)

So if I added .030 shims what would the pressure on the seat be and at .600?

145# @ 1.77 would still leave you short on the open #. You need to find a set of springs that have a higher rate, to achieve your 385# @ .600 lift.

I set up a spread sheet to look at the problem I am currently having with my Cranes, I think the Comp 921's are the only thing that will get you the numbers you are looking for. I have it figured for 1.76 installed height and .583 lift, but with those numbers you would get 140 and 421 respectively.
