Default OIL PRESSURE AT 128??? help!!

Got a 98 Vette with the only mods being vortex rammer cold air system and borla stinger exhaust. driving down the interstate friday all of a sudden my oil pressure guage was laid over all the way, the digital read out hit upwards of anywhere from 90 to 128. no increase in temp, no loss of power still idles normally no knocking or ticking what so ever. im hoping its just a sensor thats went out and nothing serious. anybody got any suggestions??

Oil pressure sending unit went bad...my buddy has a 98 that happened twice to...third time he got rid of the car...in more for work than he got to drive it. Everything was going wrong. It was in the shop for weeks for the stupid steering column multiple times.

They are a bitch to change in a vette unlike an F-bod

Oil pressre sensor at the back of the intake. That's the weak spot in the oil system so that's what goes bad. I put 4 in mine before I said screw it. It's like $40 and takes maybe an hour to change.
