Default cam suggestions for A4 car

Need some opinions on what cam to go with. My car is a 2001 SS A4 with 3.23 gears, lid and slp dual dual cat back. Im going to get a ported stock TB and qtp 1 3/4 LTs w/ catted Y very soon. For now Id like to keep the stock torque converter. 2001 and up models have the ls6 intake already from what i have read. I might add a UD pully. Ive done some research and searching in this board but im still interested in some opinions.

Im looking for a good all around performance cam that will maintain daily drive ability and durability. Since this is a street performance car and will see little track time if at all so i would like to emphasize low and mid range power.

Heres some cams im considering

Comp 212/218 .522/.529 114 LSA

TR 215/220 .600/.523 115 LSA

or something more agressive maybe

Tr 224/224 .563/.563 114 LSA

Thanks ahead of time for ur suggestions

Default Comp 212/218 .522/.529 114 LSA with 918's

Comp 212/218 .522/.529 114 LSA and Comp 918 Springs

A bulletproof combination with an ideal powerband for street use

Since you will be upgrading from the very low duration & lift truck cam Chevy used to detune the Camaro LS1 in 2001 and 2002, the the Comp cam will produce a noticible power increase.

a hotcam (219/228 .525/.525 112 lsa) with ls6 springs would work better than that, be cheaper to get, no worry about spring replacement, and sound a hell of alot meaner.

You could always spit the difference and go with comp's

xr269hr 216/220 .525/.532

The hotcam sounds good and really lopes thanks to the big difference in duration and 112lsa(especially with cutouts), but is not that street friendly in my opinion, it was hard to tune to where I could drive like normal, had slight stalling/idling issues, i also had a 3600 stall and 3:73's though.
With my next combination I plan on going for a cam that has a little better top end and smoother idle, like the tsp 224/224 .566/.566 114lsa or 225/225 .589/.589 114lsa, this one is on the high side to me though(in terms of valve train life).
The hotcam gave great bottom end but lacked on the top end.
A4's need alot of help when going from a roll vs a 6 speed.
I could do 12.8's with slicks but 13.3's with drag radials.
It's frustrating to go from a punch and have 6-speeds with less mods keep up.
Go for the bigger cam with better top end.
A4's already have better bottom end, especially once you add the converter and gears, then traction becomes the main concern.
