are those their own casting, or are they using raw AFR castings? look pretty damn sweet either way. and the guys in the dyno section are putting down some real nice numbers

I'm getting a set of the 240 heads for my 2006 setup. I love the idea of the .800 deck compared to .300 for stock. Also the 240's are about the biggest I would go on a stock bore 348ci like mine.

Are there any issues with piston to valve clearance due to the change in valve angles?

There should be more clearance with less angle. But it all depends on the seat height.
